When I first read Ann-Christine’s challenge, the song “The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round” came into my head and I can’t get it out. My youngest grandchild is 13 years, and I still remember that song. I’m hoping to get some of you to find it catching also. No, I’m not mean; I just like company!
Okay getting serious now, circles have no beginning or end and are continuous. I’ll start with metal and rust. I love the texture and patina of rust as it ages.

Nature’s floral treats are round also.

Now to round out my post with some fun single images.

Darn, I couldn’t find a bus with wheels. We’ll just have to imagine it. When you respond to this challenge, please link to Ann-Christine’s amazing post and use the Lens-Artist tag. Last week we learned some compositional rules. Thanks John. All your responses were great. Next week Patti will be challenging us, so be sure to look for her post.
Lovely rounds Anne 😀..that blue frog (i guess) is funny – what is it supposed to function as? The Lotus leaves on the water are just so calming!

Thanks PR! The blue frog is a bird feeder. Sorry to report, that the park had decided to take out the lotus patch. A lot of us will miss it.

Ah sorry to hear that the lotus patch is gone 🙁.

So am I! There’s a small patch left in Sacramento on private property. They let us take pictures.

A great selection here. But I particularly like all the rusted ones.

Thanks Margaret! The older I get the more I like rust. I guess I’m hoping I have deep character and patina!!

I hope all of us do, or will do at a Certain Age!

I love your rusty examples in particular, but I’m less grateful for the ‘Wheels on the bus’ earworm 😆

So many pretty circles, Anne! I remember that song all too well, but its a great childhood memory for when my daughters were young. I like that frog’s expression and the lotus pond. Is that the Sac Library Galleria dressed up for a formal affair. Great shot of all the shapes!

Thanks Terri! It’s funny how things from memory pop up once stimulated. That picture is of a cruise ship’s dining room. I’ve never heard of the Sac Library Galleria. Where and what is it?

Oh a cruise ship! The Sacramento Library Galleria is downtown. It has large room for events and it looks quite a bit like that.

Is that the Galleria we see off the Business 80? I thought that was a shopping center.

No, it’s in downtown Sacramento.

I used to help out in the nursery, so many years ago, Anne. You have me sitting right back there now. Can we do ‘row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream’ next?
Love your selections but I can’t help being drawn to that sunrise.

Thanks Jo! I spent many years singing those songs and I can’t sing! I was 16 years in the same elementary school with my boys.

Excellent choices, Anne, and I too am in love with the rusty gallery. Yes, maybe that is why we like it when we get older…The guitars and the mirror – first ones I have seen , why didn’t I think of that? Sorry to hear about the pond – and now you got me humming on that bus song. We have it in Swedish as well.

Thanks Ann-Christine! I’m sure that song is in every language. This challenge is fun as we look at all the circular items participants come up with.

I like this series – but until I saw your rose, I never really thought of them as round. Perfect, pretty choice!
