Interpretation! One sentence can have different meanings depending on who is reading it. Or, if it’s a challenge it can be twisted. Sorry Egidio, I’m twisting again! Since I haven’t visited many places where the scenery is too extreme, too dramatic, or more than what is expected and needed, I’m choosing to look down (over the top) or up (under the top).

Let’s start by looking down from high places.

This was my first and only ride in a two-seater plane. We are flying over Atlanta, Georgia.

How about going down. This young man is leaping off a bridge into the river. Don’t worry he’s okay!

Okay, let’s look up!

You have to look up to see this great Egret come into the nest for a landing. This crop duster was working the farms in Yolo County.

  1. Ooooh! Great interpretation! I wish I’d thought of that!!! You’ve curated and shared an amazing collection of shots, but my two favourite, by far, are the Great White Egret and the bridge jumper. Lovely post! pp

    1. Thanks Tish! I didn’t know I had a style, but I’ll take the compliment. Regarding the egret, in April there is a particular tree located in between shopping centers where egrets and herons make their nest. It’s in the middle of a marshy gulley so they are protected from humans.

  10. A clever twist for this theme Anne 🙂 I enjoyed those beautiful views (especially the Yolo County shot), the egret is gorgeous, and your timing on the shot of the boy jumping into the water is spot on!
