If you know my photographic style, then you know my word would be MACRO. Close up or macro photography was my goal when I first started photography, and it has continued to be. So John, macro is my choice. You’ve made this challenge easy for me because I have so many images to choose from. Or was it easy?
In finding my macro images, I found mostly flowers. Some even had visitors:

But there were also some water drops:

This challenge may have seemed short and sweet, but it was difficult choosing the images! So thank you John for this journey of “One Word!” I’m now reminded that I haven’t taken my macro lens out in a long time! Oh, when you post your reply, please remember to link to John’s original post and use the Lens-Artists tag.
Last week Sophia had us all go on Bold journeys, and I enjoyed seeing and experiencing all of yours. I’m presenting next week’s challenge, so I’d better get busy. In the meantime, stay safe, be resilient and live in gratitude.
Very nice selection, Anne!

I love your choice of word and images Anne! Especially the water drops which are hard to capture on my cellphone. 😊

Thank you Brad! My cellphone is a low-level one and I don’t use it for photography. I do use a macro lens.

I understand, and so far haven’t been willing to invest in a proper camera and lens. 😊

If I didn’t have a great camera, I would certainly opt for a high-level cell phone. They do so well now and are much easier to use.

Yes, mine is pretty good, but some fails on macro, action, and long range.

Another photo limit rebel 😁 Great macros Anne. I love flower photography.
I posted water drops too, aren’t they fascinating

Thanks Brian! I figured since they were all in one box, that would be okay. And, yes, sometimes I’m a rebel. I also enjoy catching water in motion.

These are great macro images Anne. It certainly looks like you need to get out with that lens again. Flowers will be popping up everywhere there soon I imagine.

Thanks Leanne! Yes, flowers will be popping up if we don’t get another bad rain. If necessary I take my lens to a nursery.

Thanks Jo! Yes, getting that reflection in the droplet was sheer luck and a good macro lens.

Anne, your macros are beautiful. They remind me that I need to get back into the habit of getting close to the subject. Good word choice1

Thank you John! And thanks for accepting my many images. I thought since they were all boxed together, it would be okay.

Thanks Tina! Excire helped me find macros, but came up with all flowers. I had to work at finding water droplets.

Gorgeous macros, Anne! I was thinking of macro as my word – but glad I didn’t pick it…I could never have matched your photos there! Sorry to be late in commenting too – the flu is not over here yet. Maybe another week or two…

Thanks Ann-Christine. It’s never too late to shower praise! I’m sorry you are still sick. There’s a 3-week flu going around here, and so far, I’ve avoided it. Just rest and give yourself permission to do nothing but get better!
