I had to almost pinch myself yesterday afternoon. We made it to the Falls. The last time I felt this way was when we went to Mt. Rushmore a couple of years ago. It was late in the afternoon, and they didn’t charge us for parking or going onto the observation bridge. We did buy tickets for a return trip either tomorrow or Thursday.
When we go back, how do I photograph the Falls. They have been shot professionally so many times, what can I do? I know I can’t do a professional job, nor am I going to go up in a plane to get the advantage. I’m also concerned about taking my camera on a boat trip under the Falls where everything gets wet. I can do the best I can with my point and shoot.
But, today’s problem is whether the RV service department gets our new stairs in and whether they can install them today. If they’re going to work on the trailer today, then we need to take Gem with us. I don’t see a boat ride in his future! It’s time to get out the tour book and find a different activity for today.
The sun is shining, the temperature is mild, and I’m going to see Niagara Falls, maybe tomorrow. Enjoy the Albany images.
