Texas is still amazing me. The highways here are in excellent shape and they have built in U-turn lanes on the major roads. But, of course, best of all our cousins Ruth and Paul are here.

We spent a wonderful day with them and were introduced to delicious Salvadorian food at dinner. It was a great experience. We didn’t do much today except visit and catch up on more than 30 years of time. We didn’t get older—did we?

We will see what amazing things happen tomorrow as our Texas experience continues.

  1. Ruth and I enjoyed our first day together with you after a break of more than 30 years, and although we have been traveling different paths found it extraordinary how much we have in common. We look forward to today.   Great post!
